Well we’ve done it, we are at the 18 months milestone of the most challenging times of most of our lives!
I’m honoured to have been of service to my DYBO family and my professional colleagues during these challenging months – together we have moved mountains to support each other in a way that we would never have dreamed of 18 months ago and we all deserve a huge pat on the back!
Its been one of the hardest times in my professional life, and to be honest quite relentless and at times overwhelming, but I’m thrilled with how well our online offerings have worked and are still working, and the tremendous success of our return to face to face group exercise and dance classes.
I couldn’t be happier with our brand new DYBO Fitness studio a safe space where I can train clients one to one and in small groups in addition to providing a wonderful space for sports therapy whilst maintaining a Covid safe environment in a relaxed and unobtrusive way.
The freshly refurbished studio at All Hallows has been a treat and so much nicer to teach in. The feedback for both venues has been wonderful thank you.
For me August is the month where I plan to recharge my Physical, Physiological and Emotional batteries and reconnect with my passion and purpose.
It’s the first time in my teaching career that I have taken the evenings off for more than a couple of weeks, it’s an odd feeling as I think about the coming weeks, ‘what do normal people do in the evening?’
I have enrolled on a training course for some professional development, I will join in some classes with other teachers, plus do some personal gym workouts, read some fiction (rather than research papers!) do some site seeing and of course plan for the coming months classes, services and presentations.
I want to make the most of the Summer and recharge my batteries before we hunker down for the autumn and winter months and what ever they might bring.
If you want to see me -I am working in the DYBO studio during the day so if you want a consultation for fitness/wellness/nutrition, a workout, sports massage or some life coaching/NLP then get in touch to book an appointment. (helen@dybo.co.uk)

Independance Day is back!
We are so excited to have this much-anticipated event happen at last, after having had to postpone it.
Our guest presenter Jo Ali is one of the UK’s most popular and loveable dance fitness presenters and we are thrilled that she is travelling so far to join us.
Spaces are filling quickly and I would love to have my DYBO divas be there with us, so please do book a.s.a.p. to guarantee your place and save £8!

The show must go on
Daisy had her opening night on Saturday, which went really well despite many challenges to over come. As with many of the West End shows they have had problems with cast members testing positive for Covid but, in the true show biz tradition, new cast members were drafted in and the company rehearsed day and night to get them up to speed for the show to open. Daisy is keeping herself fit and well and she assures me that she is being careful.
I’m really excited to be seeing the show on Tuesday at Regents Park Open-Air theatre (I hope the rain stays away!).

DYBO Membership holders…
…please remember that to keep you in shape you have free access to the class videos during August. If you have any problems accessing them please get in touch. Enjoy.
