Strange times isn’t it, the human world is definitely going through a period of massive change. I’m feeling a little overwhelmed and whilst I think it’s essential that we all know what is going on outside of our own lives I also need time away from the worrying news and to simply live in the moment amongst friends, family (and pets) to recharge my own emotional batteries and maintain my health. Keeping up your exercise, eating and sleeping well, plus making time for fun and laughter will keep up your emotional and physical health rather than getting bogged down in negativity and sadness which will have the opposite effect. Focusing on what’s good about today and looking forward to exciting and happy events is essential at any time but especially these challenging times. To that end I have planned/planning some events for us to enjoy together, so we can be a great support for each other – more of that later.
Class time/day change, Contemporary Stretch and Dancespiration classes will move for one week only to Wednesday 30th October from Thursday 1st October.
Register your place a.s.a.p. (if you haven’t already) as we will be in the smaller studio and so numbers are capped.

Banana Bread
When you are trying to live a grain-free life, breakfast and treats can be a challenge. Try this recipe to create a tasty quick breakfast or tea time snack and stay on track with your healthy diet.
Serves 8 portions
Ingredients
4x medium bananas
2x medium eggs
½ cup butter (or but butter e.g. Almond etc.)
4 x tablespoons coconut oil
½ cup coconut flour
1-3 teaspoons Cinnamon (really good for you but I’m not a big fan)
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
1 teaspoon Baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (I prefer fresh vanilla from the pod)
1 pinch salt.
Pre heat oven to 350 F
Mix all wet ingredients thoroughly
Then add all dry ingredients and mix in to a batter
Pour into a pre greased loaf tin
Cook in the middle of the oven for 55-60 mins ( check by sliding a skewer or palate knife in to centre of loaf, if it comes out clean, its ready!)
Turn out and cool on a cooling rack before slicing.
Let me know what you think!
Have a fab week and let me know your thoughts and suggestions about the Christmas Social. Remember to book you place at for Contemporary Stretch or Dance Class on the 30th September, plus your place at the ‘Independance’ Masterclass with Nikkie and I.
Love ya
Helen xxxx
