Good morning, did you have a wonderful Bank Holiday? Are you happy with how you used the extra day off work? Did you achieve what was best for you, rest and relax if that was what you needed? Get your DIY, garden, paper work, planning, family time etc. done? As long as you achieve what you want, I think it’s always time well invested. For me, drifting doesn’t make me happy – that doesn’t mean that I don’t value and appreciate spontaneity – I do, in my view, constant spontaneity is really chaos which is non-productive and stressful. I have many plates to spin in my working life and it is easy for me to become overwhelmed. A cunning plan including goals, aims, objectives, strategies, resources and periods of reflection and relaxation is key to me staying healthy fit and balanced yet productive. Take some ‘time out’ to create a plan to be successful, write it down and share it with supportive people who will keep you on track and hold you accountable to your actions, strategies and goals. Spring is well underway, Summer is on it’s way and this is a great time to get things done!
The Week Ahead
All classes are running with, as always, fresh content to assist with inspiration, motivation and development. Fridays’ Freestyle Fitness Yoga course (6.30-7.15) is almost full with a couple of spaces left – you don’t have to commit to every Friday but booking ahead is recommended.
Helen and Karen in Bath
We are taking the DYBO Academy to Bath on Sunday to share the love and skill of independent, original and creative dance inspired fitness training.
Tour de Yorkshire
Steve’s boys of One Pro Cycling rode the Tour de Yorkshire (did you see the TV coverage?) The boys learned a great deal riding along side the world of cycling’s very best – an amazing and inspiring experience for them all. Steve tells me that Stage 3 was one of the hardest race stages ever in the history of UK cycling in terms of profile and terrain!
Sarah’s Gymnasts
Smashed it at the Surrey Championships with a significant medal haul, well done gymnasts, coaches and helpers of Liberty Gymnastics club!
