In addition to my regular DYBO duties, I headed up to the EXCEL centre in London’s Docklands on Thursday for the FitPro conference. Yes, that was the day the Tube drivers were on strike, creating travel chaos! So with my DYBO darlings Daisy, Adele and Jo I headed of at 5am to guarantee our arrival in good time for the DYBO demo at 9am immediately followed by my DYBO workshop. The girls were fantastic company, support and great ambassadors for DYBO. Read on to see the Demo routine, Class news, sports news and healthy eating suggestions. Please feel free to share with your friend’s family and colleagues

Thanks Sarah and Daisy for taking care of the Thursday night classes – the girls and boys loved your sessions.

I’m still digesting and mulling over the FitPro experience partly because I was straight back to work the following morning and preparing the Ante postnatal course I delivered on Sunday. I was blessed with a wonderful group of Pilates teachers, all of them enthusiastic and open to new learning. A whole day of talking is tough, even for me, so a soak in the hot tub after running with the dogs was very much appreciated.

Last week of term

I can’t believe most schools break up at the end of the week and so I have got to get a wriggle on with the Summer timetable – quickly send me your Summer class requests before the time table is finalised.

Tell me what you want, what you really, really want

Remember if you have any class requests or feedback I want to hear from you.

Benton’s Boys

Steve’s ONE Pro Cycling boys are still riding high. On Sunday 12th July the One Pro Cycle team gave team sprinter Chis Opie a brilliant lead out train to the finishing line than resulted in him taking the win at the Stockton Grand Prix.

Let me introduce you to Fennel,

I love its aniseed flavour and often slice finely in to my salad. The Italians often serve it roasted.

Fennel has wonderful anti oxidants, reduces inflammation, offer lots of dietary fiber, and contains nutrients that lower blood pressure. Follow this link to learn more!

I’ve never tried it in a juice but I’m willing to give it a go – if you try it before me let me know what you think!

Pop a Cherry

Cherries are in season and at their best this time of year. They packed with healthy goodness but also with lots of sugar which isn’t great for our waistline or teeth. A handful should be enough as a treat or for dessert or you can chop them up add them to our banana ice cream dessert for variety.

Have a wonderful healthy week

See you at class and training

Love ya,

Helen
