Well that’s another birthday come and gone and this time it’s a biggy! Well I have been absolutely spoiled rotten and I’m utterly overwhelmed by the kindness of my DYBO family. Such warm and fuzzy sentiments and wonderful birthdays gifts and treats, I’m a lucky girl. I have spent the majority of my life (I started teaching at 17 years old) working in the dance, health and fitness world and many of you have been with me for much of that time – this amazing achievement is for us all to share because without you there would be no DYBO family. Thank you and I pray that we continue together for many, many years to come.
We have much to look forward to before this year ends and on in to 2016!
Power Step Combo was fantastic last week, I loved getting back to teaching original step routines – simple and effective, but with fab music and a fun group, time flies too. Only two more classes (Friday 4th & 11th December – book in advance to guarantee your step)
We have our Broadway to Hollywood class on the 15th December. All early bird payments must be in today (30th November) before the class fee rises.
Our DYBO Christmas Nosh Up is on the 18th December, 8pm at Zizzi’s in Farnham (Castle Street).
We have lots of new routines, music and class content right up to the last class of the year and there is sufficient interest to run all three classes on Monday 21st December, our Christmas Cracker Workout (an annual tradition) will close the 2015 year of classes on Tuesday 22nd December 7-8pm.
The full Class timetable of classes and one to one services resume on Monday 4th January 2016.
Remember, I look forward to hearing your requests for New Year classes. I have lots of requests for our ever popular Ski Fit (incorporating the thigh firming slides) classes. It’s great fun and effective training for ski fitness and for general fitness and body conditioning. Adele says that after the Ski Fit season it’s the firmest her thighs ever feel.

Mint Choccies
Here’s a little xmas treat that is low in sugar (compared to other treats) and makes great home made Christmas gifts.
- 1-1/2 cups unsweetened shredded coconut (reserve 1-2 tbsp on the side as garnish)
- 1 tbsp melted coconut oil
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch sea salt
- 2 drops peppermint extract, or more depending on your taste
- 12 ounces (350 grams) high quality dark chocolate
- Small cupcake cases
Instructions
1 Add the shredded coconut, coconut oil, vanilla and sea salt to a food processor and allow it to run for several minutes until the coconut is smooth.
2 Stir in the peppermint extract one drop at a time until it’s as minty as you like.
3 In a bain marie or the microwave, gently melt the chocolate. Place a spoonful of melted chocolate into the wrapper, smoothing it out with the back of the spoon to create sides and a bottom. Refrigerate until hardened.
4 Then, scoop a small amount of the filling into the cup and flatten until it covers the bottom. One batch of the coconut butter filling should make 10-12 portions.
5 Place another spoonful of melted chocolate on top and smooth out. Refrigerate to harden.
6 Store in the refrigerator for best results. May also be kept frozen!

Thanks again to all of you made my ‘special’ birthday, extra special and a big shout out to Jan Bonny and Adele who also had special birthdays too, together we add up to 160 years! That’s a whole lot of dancing that’s been done over that time!
Have a fab week.
Love ya,
Helen x
