Can you all let me know your plans for classes this week, which ones are you coming/not coming to. Ta x
Well this Easter we will get a little more wear out of our Bonnets, with all this lovely sunshine!

We have two short working weeks ahead but I shall still be offering lots of opportunities to feel fit and fabulous and to put a dent into the Easter egg and hot cross bun calorie (high sugar) intake!
Geting the flesh out this early in the year can be a little daunting but a good reminder that it is wise to keep to a healthy weight and of course optimal fitness all year round. The stop-start, yo yo approach to our health, fitness and fatness is unhealthy and unnecessary (although I appreciate it’s not always easy to stay on track).
An early Spring will ‘spring’ us into action (see what I did there?) in time for feeling super healthy and confident for the Summer and, ideally, beyond.
I will be offering classes and one to one appointments Monday to Thursday this week and Tuesday to Friday next week (Freestyle Fitness yoga commences on Friday 21st April – reserve your place NOW! A fab, non-impact way to get into shape). One to ones are available Saturday mornings too. If your regular class isn’t on then come on another night, try out a different class as we have plenty of independent, fun and effective fitness and dance sessions for you to enjoy.
I’ve had a wonderful three days, starting last Friday with a brain storming and creative session with the very talented and beautiful (inside and out) Daisy West, sharing ideas in preparation for our brand new class ‘Barre Fit’. I’m very excited. This new class commences on Wednesday 26th April 7.30-8.15pm. I’ve had lots of interest expressed and so I need to collect names so I can ensure sufficient equipment is available. Please email me with your intent asap. helen@dybo.co.uk
On Saturday I joined Jane Bass at the Rick Astley concert . Omg I loved it! Lots of new and fresh songs (written by him) plus a few classics and covers with an amazing voice, proving he is a true artist and not a flash in the pan pop relic. His support act, Earl, is fab too – I can see me choreographing some lovely routines to her songs!
On Sunday I hung out with one of my oldest (as in years we’ve know each other, not age!!) school chums. It was lovely to catch up and hear all about her life in Bermuda. Then I spent the evening with another group of pals with whom I share history. The natural love and warmth that comes from long standing relationships is truly nourishing. I’m so happy that I put my work to one side and made time to be with them – precious time which is after all our most valuable resource and in my view should be invested wisely!

Gardening Tips?
I have decided to create an edible patio garden and have planted various fruit and vegetables, any tips to help me keep my plants alive and get some edible produce is very much appreciated!!!

Easter Lunch!
Whilst looking for interesting Easter food I came across this recipe. Cauliflower is low in carbohydrates but still packed with nutrients, I think it’s a fab side dish either hot or cold – give it a go, tell me what you think (I might sprinkle a little cheese on mine).
Cauliflower and Pomegranate
- 1 large head of cauliflower
- 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil or coconut oil
- 1 tsp cumin
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- Chopped fresh mint leaves, for Garnish
- Seeds of 1 pomegranate
Preheat your oven to 425 F (220c)
Break up your cauliflower into bite-sized florets. Place into a large baking dish and toss them in the oil, cumin, salt and pepper. Make sure you really mix the ingredients well to ensure even coverage
Bake in the Oven for about 30 minutes. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.
Remove dish from the oven. Immediately transfer it into serving dishes and top with mint and plenty of pomegranate seeds.
Serve with the rest of your easter meal and enjoy xxx
Wishing you a wonderful Easter and respectful blessings to our friends of faith
Love ya
Helen xxx
