Today is the day that we transition from Summer to Autumn (according to the meteorologists) and I think we are now officially allowed to mention the C word!!!! Our DYBO Christmas Party plans are ready and all I need to confirm with the venue is your RSVP (read on for details). Last year was an absolute blast and ace value for money. I hope even more of you can join us as we put on our ‘glad rags’ and get to know each other a little better, not to mention eat, drink and dance our butts off all night.

Today is also the cusp of two birth signs, Virgo (the indecisive) and Libra (the practical) – well this perfectly describes two of Declan’s traits and it’s his birthday today (even his birth sign is undecided, ha ha). So a big Happy Birthday to Declan the DYBO “dogs body”, as he calls himself.

Thank you for your help with all things DYBO –  hope you will bring bubbles and cake to class tonight!!!!

It’s also DYBO Diva Nikki Shenton’s birthday too, happy birthday Nikki. Enjoy your holiday X

I’ve had a busy weekend choreographing a fantastic routine for our ‘Independance Day’ on Saturday  – my session is called ‘Confidance’ and that’s exactly what I will be teaching: step-by-step confidence and empowerment building through dance movement and an awesome track!

I can’t wait for you to meet (again) Nikki Riozzi who is in tremendous demand as a Dance Fitness presenter due to her user-friendly choreography and excellent instruction (most relevantly at participant and enthusiasts weekends and events across the UK but so rarely ‘down south’). She was a big hit the last time she came! We still have some spaces left so book asap, bring a friend and spread the word please – I want you all to experience ‘Independancing’ and give Nikki a big DYBO welcome! Remember no Thursday dance class this week so a perfect alternative!

Come back, we’ve missed you!

I know that when any of us have dropped out of classes, for no matter what reason, it can be difficult to return, but please remember we are always happy to see you and will welcome you warmly, no matter for how long or for what reason you have been away. Don’t worry about fitness levels, figure or what to wear – just come on back, we want to see you!

Daisy in da House

Our wonderful Daisy will be back teaching Barre Fit for us over the coming weeks (thank you Daisy for making time for us in your busy schedule). She brings fantastic tips and teaching. Don’t worry if you haven’t done Barre or danced before, the exercises are such that any one can do them to the best of their ability. The class objectives are to get stronger (all over), have greater stamina and improve flexibility.

CLASS CANCELLATION

Due to the school requiring the entire site this coming Thursday, there will be NO CLASSES ON THURSDAY 26 SEPTEMBER 2019. Try Barre Fit on Wednesday (7.30pm) and Freestyle Fitness Yoga on Friday (6.30pm) as they are great alternatives as is Saturday’s Independance Day for the dancers. Let me know if you want to attend.

He’s here!

I was sworn to secrecy last Monday when Dalton Frank Francis came in to the world (I was bursting to tell you) – he arrived at 4 in the morning of the 16 September weighing in at 6lb 7oz. Sarah is doing brilliantly and she and Jake are over the moon after the arrival of their much awaited wee fella.

DYBO CHRISTMAS PARTY

Last years party was so brilliant and I think that we should return to the Oak Park Golf Club (Crondall near Farnham) for another night of fabulous, festive, fun (and it’s amazing value at just £32). They also accommodate special dietary needs.

I’ve reserved 44 spaces at the Winter Wonderland Party on the 20 December and need to let them know numbers and secure with a £10 a head deposit within the next two weeks please.

Christmas Menu here….

Helen’s Low Carb Gut Healthy Pizza

Perfect any time of the day and nutritious too!

Combine:

1 x cauliflower head, blitzed or grated

2-4 eggs (depending upon size of cauliflower) enough to bind the ingredients

Grated hard cheese to taste (around 4 oz)

Place on greased baking tray or pizza stone and shape pizza base with hands bake in pre-heated oven (180C) until golden for 15-20mins.

Remove from oven and spread either passata or chopped tomatoes over the top followed by gut friendly veggies such as artichokes, olives, garlic, onion, asparagus, rocket, spinach, goats cheese etc. Return to oven until golden brown.

Serve with a salad and a poached egg on top – yummy!

Tell me what you think!

Looking forward to seeing you at Class, Training and Independance this week and remember we create our reality, life is as we see it and how we make it!

Love ya,

Helen x

PS. Let me know if you are coming to the Christmas party asap!
