Happy New Year, I really do hope that you have had a wonderful Christmas and New Year and are ready to make 2016 a fantastic year for your health, fitness and happiness – and as always the DYBO crew are here to help you with all three!
My Boxing Day trip to New York for 5 days has resulted in Christmas feeling like a month ago and I’m only just recovering from the Jet Lag, but I loved it and the subsequent sleep issues are ‘sooooooo’ worth it! Thank you for all your recommendations, tips and suggestions. I am definitely going to have to return to get through them all. I walked for hours on end, managed to go ice skating, join the Broadway Dance Studio (couldn’t make a class tho’ so that’s a definite for my next visit), did lots of sight seeing and a enjoyed trip to see the Rockettes Christmas Show at Radio City, plus the backstage tour, which I absolutely loved and was a real highlight of our trip (thanks Sally Collis for the suggestion!)
I have, of course, been busy with new choreography, class formats (Ski Fi starts this Friday coming), writing articles and – hold on to your hat -even learning about Twitter!!!! I am going to offer a free tip for health fitness and wellbeing for 2016 starting today until the end of January so do follow me on @HelenCW99 and spread the word (tweet about it too).
Make a wish. I’m creating a make a wish, dream/ goal tree. All you need to do is write your wish, dream, and goal on a piece of paper for the year ahead. I will place your wish on our wishing tree and you will be reminded of the promise you made to yourself as we progress towards our goals throughout the year! Remember to state your goals positively, focus on what you want, not what you don’t want!
Bin the trash. To make room for more success and great things we must get rid of the rubbish i.e. negative thoughts, behaviours, habits and so on that are taking up our mental, physical and emotional space and energy. Write down all the things you want to eliminate from your life that are unhelpful, holding you back and weighing you down. Then simply say good-bye and put them in the bin for me to dispose of!
BTW every thing you write down will only be seen by you unless you want to share it with me (and me alone)

Coconut yogurt also fab!
