I’ve still got the ‘summer feels’ following our flying visit to Mykonos! I can highly recommend the Myconion Crown Suites where we stayed throughout our holiday – they are welcoming, warm and individualise their service to meet your needs! It was like staying with family (that don’t annoy or bug you!).
We both needed to recharge in our own way so whilst Declan lay in and dozed I got up early every morning (bar one) and did my own ‘restorative yoga for me’ routine and that, combined with some in-room massage treatments, helped me get in to Rest Mode more quickly. I relaxed on the food front too and so now will deal with the outcome of more sugar, starch and alcohol than I’m used to!
Dimitrie, the owner, is an real life example of ‘loving what you do and so never working another day in your life’. He is an amazing artist (mainly mosaics which are brilliant) and a generous warm and friendly man (ably assisted by his lovely wife Effie working hard behind the scenes). He had lots of lovely tales to tell, is still deeply in love with his wife and a fabulous dancer! too When I found this out I immediately asked him to teach me Argentinian Tango, which he did without hesitation, so whilst Declan and the two members of staff looked on I had a 30 minute Tango lesson, and on the following day I learned some Salsa and Ceroc – can you imagine dancing around a pool in the morning sunshine doing what I love, being a student and dancing … perfect!
Back to you guys, We have two more weeks of the Summer Schedule and I will continue with the Summer flavour in our classes.
For tonight’s Monday Night ‘Boogie Dance Summer Special’ I have choreographed a new routine for you, so remember it’s 7-8pm tonight and next Monday too.
For Tuesday we have a fresh HIIT lesson plan (as always) plus a new routine for the Dance Fit class.
I’m trying to get some new music and exercise drills together for Barre Fit on Wednesday so be prepared.
Thursday’s Contemporary Stretch Class has a ‘whole body release’ theme, and our Dance class has my holiday Tango flavour!
Fridays Fitness Yoga class is based on my restorative routine devised on holiday
As always requests are welcome!

SUMMER TIMETABLE

Thank you and well done!
Thank you to Daisy, Rachel and Teresa for looking after the classes so well, and Steve for PT cover.
I’ve had fantastic feedback from their classes and the girls have been incredibly complimentary about our DYBO family, telling me that everyone was friendly, welcoming, supportive and helpful and also have great, form, technique, attitude and effort. Teresa says that we truly ‘have something very special’ happening every week and in her role as a trainers trainer/presenter and quality control, she very rarely sees what we have, so well done to you too, I’m immensely grateful and proud xxx
Congratulations
To Ruth Tuck and hubby Nev, who have taken delivery of their first baby, Jacob William Tuck born two weeks early weighing in at 7lb and 6oz. Ruth is doing well, and new grandma Jane has had the plaster on her arm removed just in time for baby cuddles. Jane is recovering well and is in good spirits post her accident.
Good Luck to our Sarah
Who is Just three weeks away from her due date and is now on maternity leave, trying to both prepare and rest before her first baby comes along.
I’m sure dad in waiting, Jake, will take great care of her. I am, as you can imagine extremely excited and can’t wait for baby-sitting duties!
It does mean that Sarah isn’t in the office for the next couple of months so be patient with me as I try to run the show by myself!!!
