Remembering Billy Connolly’s immortal words ‘there’s no such thing as bad weather only the wrong clothes’ we will do the very British thing, moan about the weather and then get on with it! A little bit of a moan is okay isn’t it and at times brings people together and unifies them in their opinion. Sometimes it creates change when people realise that others also feel strongly about something and they band together to make things happen. Equally it can keep us stuck, focused on something that is, what we perceive at the time, less than perfect or not ideal and it stops us moving forward to what we want or appreciating what we have or already are. I sometimes feel miserable after a moan especially if I’ve been moaning with someone else. And some folks moan all the time, which ultimately gets them the wrong type of attention, or lonely when, eventually, others will avoid them altogether. So no moaning today, only appreciating what I have, focusing on where I want to be with whom etc. Choose three things to appreciate today and no moaning… okay!!! (I bet you will feel better!)

ONE Pro at the Tour of Britain
Yesterday was a super exciting day, we went to watch the final round of the Tour of Britain (VIP, don’t you know!) and party afterwards. Once again the ONE Pro boys performed out of their skin and were rewarded for their blood, (literally), sweat and tears coming away with both the King of the Mountains and Sprint Points jerseys, worn by Pete Williams but achieved by all the riders and support team. Since the launch of this team 111 months ago they have set the domestic cycling scene alight and are moving on up to the UCI Pro Conti level next season (a jump of two leagues and only one below world tour level). They had a presentation and party last night to thank all riders, support team, and management and as you know Steve is a key player in all of that and his genius (he’s called the Professor or the Guru) as a coach is acknowledged by all. It was a very proud night for all of us who know him and love him best. (Bradley now wants to be a pro rider, we’ll see how he likes the training and early mornings!!!)

BURLESQUE FITNESS FUSION with Helen (3-4:30pm)
Inspired by the great classic and current burlesque performers, this session will teach you how to show off your curves and celebrate all that is feminine. Appreciate how to enjoy womanly shapes rather than pummel them into hard muscular statues. The tempo is at times faster than classic burlesque to improve cardiovascular fitness and also slows to challenge muscle control, balance and stability. Most importantly, you will have lots of fun and giggles experiencing a new sexy way of moving and something different!
Tickets: £25 when you book by 30 Sept. Normal price £35. All tickets include a glass of fizz to enjoy after. Places are limited
Christmas Party
As always I will be teaching a fabulous themed Christmas party class on the 15th December 7.30pm, more details to follow. I wondered if you guys were interested in going to a restaurant for a DYBO fitness family Christmas dinner for every one to enjoy?
I’m open to suggestions and welcome your ideas asap so we can get booking.
