‘Opportunity is nowhere’ or can you read it as ‘Opportunity is now here’!
I’ve borrowed this from Peter Twist, it reflects perfectly my belief that things are as we see them and that by seeing things that way then that makes them so! Two people can look at a situation and see no opportunities where as others see lots. Successful people are those who see the opportunities where others do not. Believing that you can be different, better, happier, fitter, slimmer etc. will generate the motivation to take action to make it so (obviously you can’t take action to be younger but you can take action to feel younger!).
I’ve set myself the challenge to see all the wonderful things that I have in my life every day and weight them more heavily that the less positive stuff, additionally I am focusing my efforts and energy on looking for, finding and acting upon opportunity too; give it a try you will feel better in every way.
We have opportunities for various ways to be fitter, happier and healthier and are ready to work with you all. I have a couple of PT/coaching slots available to help those who want more focused/individualized training plus Sports massage appointments with me, Sarah and Karen. We have a range of classes of different styles and levels, in addition to another one of our very popular ‘Independance day’ events (discounted booking offer ends 30th April) so share this message and spread the word. Purple Food!
Did you watch the BBC programme about keeping young and healthy, well apart from dancing being found to be the best for of exercise for all round health they explained that purple food is where it’s at to slow the ageing process and keep healthy so here is a little recipe for you to try:-
Red cabbage and walnut salad
Ingredients
2 yellow onions, sliced or diced
2 Tablespoons coconut
1 Cabbage, sliced/shredded
1 cup water
3 Tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 cup walnuts
Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
In a large pan, saute onions in oil until translucent.
Add cabbage to the pan and cook until lightly browned, stirring shreds as needed. Add the water and vinegar, bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat to low and simmer, covered for 10-12 minutes, stirring every few minutes.
Drain the cabbage and add walnuts and seasonings. Serve hot or cold. Store in the fridge for up to 5 days.
Tastes great as a side dish, or a salad with chicken skewers
Have a fab week, focus on your blessings, look out for opportunities (and go after them) and remember tell all your friends about our classes, they can come for free (if they haven’t been before) all week.
Love Ya
Helen x
