Good Morning…
I hope you are wrapped up warmly?
As Billy Connolly says, “no such thing as bad weather only the wrong clothes” – which I remembered as I put on the layers before my bike ride yesterday!
Big Up To The Boys
My little jaunt around Bourley Woods on my bike seems decidedly insignificant compared to class member (and PT client) Martin Aldrich accompanied by his sons James and Mathew and friend Al, who completed the charity bike ride ‘Palace to Palace’ in under 4 hours – well done boys!
Thank You
Monies raised by Mini and her pals for Guide Dogs for the Blind and the Manchester Dogs Charity stands at £180 from 2 and 4 legged walkers on the day and £120 sponsorship (£20 outstanding). Thank you to everyone! I shall deliver the money this week.
DYBO
The new website www.dybo.co.uk is up and ready for you to take a look at. Your feedback is very much welcomed! We will be combining the UKFA and CF&DC sites over the coming weeks so check your spam filter doesn’t throw out our correspondence with you. Then we will take down our old websites once we are fully up to speed with managing the new one.
Big Balls!!
Our ‘Big Balls and What To Do With Them’ is such an effective (and popular) class if you have a big ball and want to know what to do with it! See you on Friday at 6.30pm. If you haven’t got a ball, you can borrow one of ours to see how you get on (you need to let me know asap) and I can order one of your very own for you when you get hooked on the effectiveness of the exercises !
Chilly!
We’ve enjoyed fantastically mild weather and I know we are all out of the habit of wrapping up but the weather has turned and I want to remind you of the importance of keeping your muscles warm before and after classes/training. Layers are the best approach and if you are a ‘sweaty betty’ like me, a dry top to change into at the end of class is a good idea to stop you getting chilled.
Soup
If you want to keep your healthy eating going all year round and find yourself short on time, can I recommend the Chicken and Vegetable Broth sold by Waitrose. It’s full of good stuff, contains no ‘nasties’ and will both warm you and fill you up, keeping you fuller for longer. Just a thought for you when you are too busy to prepare soup yourself.
So here’s to the week ahead.
Do let me know your thoughts on the new website?
Have a fab week.
Love ya,
Helen x
