2015 is only 7 weeks old and, for me, it’s been jam-packed with excitement and fabulousness. I’m loving the new classes (and your feedback tells me that you are too, yay!) The Academy is growing and the feedback I have received from course attendees and Academy members has been wonderful. Karen and I were recording the next round of new choreography for the Academy members on Sunday (no rest for the wicked or teachers!)
I’m also in full choreography and research mode preparing for the presentations I shall be delivering at IFS in March (you are invited to join me at this 3 day Fitness and Dance conference – message me for details) and my ante post natal teacher training day the following week.
There are lots of flus, colds and general ‘lurgies’ around at present so read on for immunity boosting tips for you and your family, plus more sporting success news for Steve’s boys.
Have Your Say!
I ask at every class for your requests and feedback; occasionally participants do give me feedback and ask for certain songs or routines. My requests are sincere and I truly want to know how we can make your classes and training as effective as possible, to meet your needs and wants. So have your say and speak up!
I also often ask that you can take a few moments from your busy lives to spread the word about DYBO, our classes and services. Your recommendations will go a long way to helping us compete in a very crowded market place. If you are on social media, maybe you can leave a review on our FB page or Twitter (I’m not on there but everything helps) maybe you are on a local site or forum (e.g. Fleet or Farnham Mummies) and can let others know about what we offer. If you are able to give out flyers or put up posters, your assistance will go a long way to helping us spread the word and continue to provide value for money, fabulous classes and one to one services!
Big Balls and What To Do With Them!
Lots of people still don’t know what to do with those big gym balls – they are a great bit of equipment, fab for top to toe exercise, but only if you know what to do with them and how to exercise safely.
We have a 4 week course starting this Friday (excluding the 19th March) with limited spaces, to ensure sufficient attention to maximize safety, optimal technique and effectiveness. Book your place now! PS. Bring your own ball; contact us by Tuesday midday to order one. I need to know how tall you are to purchase the correct size.
Steve’s Riders Are Smashing It!
On Sunday Steve’s boys (ONE Pro Cycling) braved the inclement weather to race at two more early season events. They took a 1-2-3 sweep of the podium at the Clayton Classic in Lancashire and notched up another victory in Devon at the Primavera Road Race. After their swish official launch in London last week, their website is now live – check it out at oneprocycling.com.
Bon Voyage
Long-term class member Jo Lambert is off to live and work in Abu Dhabi, we are going to miss you Jo. Good luck!
