Spontaneity and sharing the DYBO love!

I have had the most wonderful and spontaneous weekend.

On Saturday I travelled to Highgate in London to present my Burlesque Fitness Fusion class at the ‘Strut Summit’, a celebration of body confidence, irrespective of body shape etc. It was a fun day and the ‘strutters’ were very welcoming and appreciative of my DYBO message and routine, I was also honoured to have some of the DYBO Divas join me and my goodness, I was proud to share the experience with them!

Here comes the spontaneity bit, because I had an appointment near by on Sunday I decided to stay in London that night and enjoy the London life, live music, dim sum, river boat tour, siteseeing and enjoying the Christmas lights, finishing with the Electric Cinema experience (armchairs, blankets, feet up, champagne and a movie) highly recommended!

I often spend the weekend working on all things DYBO and UKFA related, it did me good to switch off from those responsibilities for a bit.

This will make you chuckle, I had to make sure that I had got ahead of the game with my jobs in order to be spontaneous without pressure. So I had already prepared this coming week’s classes, a new routine for Tuesday night’s Dance Fit Class (I hope some of you can stay on for a little time after class to record the full routine we did last week. I didn’t record the whole routine in one go last week, – we will of course practice it first! DYBO tops if you have one please 🙂 and I have evolved and planned all of your classes and one to one sessions for this coming week.

Gut Cleanse & Rehab Talk

I have already reported to you how I have renewed energy and well being following my Gut cleanse and how I’m reaping the benefits ranging from increased energy, more positive outlook, mental clarity, no more aches and pains or hot flushes, no sugar and starchy carbohydrate cravings and weight loss. I’m also thrilled to tell you that the clients who have joined me are telling me the same and it’s thrilling to see them fly and live life feeling better within and without.

I’m delivering a short informal presentation/ Q&A session on Saturday the 25th November at 3pm here in Church Crookham. Numbers are limited so I can offer only 2 more places. I will explain (simply) why gut health is important, what goes wrong when it goes wrong, why the tag line “ fix the gut, fix the problem’ is true for almost everyone and how I have sorted my Gut and so have my clients who have embarked on the cleanse.

Details will be emailed to all attendees this week.

First come first served, the presentation is FOC, all I ask for is you make a donation of your choice to Macmillan Cancer Support (in advance please).

Christmas Treats

I don’t want to be a party pooper and I love a treat occasionally too

How about these Paleo truffles (from the ultimate Paleo guide) to gift or keep for yourself.

Peppermint Dark Chocolate Truffles

3 dozen

  • 1 cup coconut milk from a can (not light!)
  • 10 ounces Dark chocolate (darkest you can find – at least 65% cacao), finely chopped
  • 3 tbsp Coconut oil melted
  • 1 tsp Peppermint extract
  • Cocoa powder for dusting finished truffles

  1. Heat the coconut milk to a simmer, either in a saucepan or the microwave.
  2. Put the chocolate and coconut oil in a large bowl and pour the hot milk in. Stir gently, until chocolate is melted, and mixture is smooth. Add the peppermint extract, and stir until combined.
  3. Cover the mixture and refrigerate until firm, 3-4 hours, or overnight.
  4. When ready to make the truffles, pour some cocoa powder in a small bowl. Remove chocolate mixture from fridge, and scoop into 36 1-inch balls using either a melon baller or cookie scoop. Form into balls and roll in the cocoa powder. Store in an airtight container in the fridge until ready to serve.

These are rich so you won’t want to eat more than one, (warning – too many will make your clothes feel tighter!!!)

Wishing you a fabulous week, and why not do something spontaneous!

Love ya,

Helen x

Helen was inspirational when I went to her for Life Coaching. I began to regard events and happenings that caused me pain in a totally different way and the comfort that gave me was intense during some really life changing personal circumstances. It took me some time for her teachings to become a way of thinking for me - I'm still learning and putting into practice what I have been taught. I will always regard this experience as being a turning point in the way I view life's challenges. Thank you so much, Helen.
