Rainbows and Unicorns

Contemporary Stretch

December 13, 2018

It seems we might have a little rain coming our way, well who cares ‘cos if you want rainbows you must have some rain (Dolly Parton, love her).

“Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to dance in the rain”

Without the rain we wouldn’t have this great image, moment and philosophy!

With Gay Pride events all over the world this weekend and the images of multi-cultural, gender, sexuality, political and religious harmony being shared across the Globe it’s a breath of fresh air, hope and positivity. The multi coloured Rainbow of magic and love is truly an inspiring and nurturing image.

With a song in my heart and dance in my feet I shall press on with this week’s missive!

We enjoyed a fabulous week of fitness and dance last week, and our new class on Friday (The Perfect Summer Solution) was a hit!

Feedback so far has been…

“…really enjoyed Fridays class. I like the fact that it’s 3 short parts so you’re not thinking, oh God when will this finish!…. and it’s a good finish to the working week and sets you up for the weekend X”

“…I enjoyed the class on Friday. As I normally do the HIIT on a Tuesday it wasn’t as demanding but I know that if the intensity is right you don’t need to go on for long. The stretching was good as I tend to neglect that a bit and I do like the combination of upper limb, squats and core work. I think the variety and your personality create the fun.”

“It was a very do-able class. The first part was intense but you knew it was only for 15 minutes. By the time you thought you couldn’t do any more it was over. The flow was good from one section to another. I left feeling worked but not exhausted”

Thinking ahead to the Summer School holidays, I know that many of you will enjoy a lovely summer holiday and so won’t be around for classes. To help me put on the classes that you want to attend over the coming weeks can you please complete and return the forms attached asap and I can organise the schedule and book the venue.

Barre Fit with Daisy and HCW

Wednesday nights is Barre Fit night and for me its provided a gorgeous mid week class, that’s really different in approach, different movement and music ( plus I love working side by side with Daisy) which provides aphysical and mental refresher for me and our regulars

At the end of the class the comments I get is ‘I feel really lengthened and stretched but I feel stronger in my legs, back and abs (core). I concur. 45 mins of bliss that we feel the benefits of for a few days afterwards!

Synergy World Wide

I am so impressed with the products and research behind the products that I have been using to improve my gut and overal health that I have decided to become a distributor for World Synergy health products. The company sponsors it’s own research, is vegetarian and vegan friendly and not tested on animals, No hard sell from me, I continue to use them and am loving and thriving on the improvements in my energy, skin, muscle condition and weight loss too. If you want to take a look at the products and talk through what you want to achieve I am happy to assist.

I have a code you can use or you can order via me.

I had this last night, for supper with salad leaves but you can have it as a side dish or snack served with nachos. Its packed with Protein and healthy fats and it’s yummy!

As a keen club runner I had become frustrated at a number of recurring running injuries. After seeing a variety of different physios and chiropractors, with varying degrees of success but no complete solution, I was recommended to Helen. Helen took a different approach to other practitioners, looking at the whole body structure, core strength and flexibility and initially recommending a programme based around my basic posture, rather than the actual location of the pain. Following the exercises and programmes recommended by Helen I have managed to stay injury free for over 18 months, and am able to train at increasing levels of intensity. Thank you!
