We will look after any personal information that you share with us. We maintain a Mailchimp and Excel system, which contains names, addresses, phone numbers and the email address of those clients who have agreed to receive regular news, updates and offers. These systems are password protected.

 

 

We also hold client records containing your name, address, phone number and some medical information that you have divulged to us. Your data is strictly for our professional use and not disclosed to any third parties (unless you have given us permission). This is central to our values as an organisation. We want everyone who supports us or comes to us for support to feel confident about how any personal information they share will be looked after or used.

 

 

 

You can be confident that:

 

  • We only use personal information in the ways we need to and that is expected of us
  • We will keep you up to date with our work, including how we are campaigning to improve services, raising awareness, promoting understanding as well as our charity events But, we will only use your personal information to do this if you have previously given consent
  • We will make it easy for you to tell us how you want us to communicate with you, including how to opt out from future communications and we promise your request will be respected straight away
  • We will never release your information to organisations outside of DYBO 
  • We will be especially careful and sensitive when engaging with vulnerable people or those we have reason to believe might be vulnerable

I was originally refered to Helen in 1998 by a Chiropractor, following on going back problems from years of competitive tennis.  Helen put together a programme to improve my flexibiity, posture and core strength, and in conjunction with regular sports massage (from Helen) and Chiropractic treatment, totally cleared up my lower back pain.  I have continued regular treatment over the last 13 years to maintain a healthy back and have had minimal problems since.  Last October (2010) I ruptured my achilles tendon playing football, and following surgery Helen and Steve were able to provide me with support and guidance throughout my recuperation.  Ten months on I am back playing tennis and football and training to the maximum at Bodyblitz (one of Helen's classes)!!
