The temperature is rising a little this week, that’s bliss for me. Whilst others embrace the chance to pull on jumpers and long boots, I confess that I want to hang on to my flip flops and shorts for as long as possible, I’m truly a Summer girl and love to be ‘al fresco’ whenever possible.

We’re keeping our late Summer vibes going in our classes and one to one sessions throughout September (at least!). I’m trying to hang on to my tan with regular gentle exfoliation and coconut oil massaged into my skin (the smell is very ‘holidayish’ too) and finish my ‘look’ with a little bronzer brushed across my cheeks – I’m still living my holiday vibe.

We are back to the regular class system with a Full Class Timetable. I know a few of you are still on Holibobs but some of you are definitely awol! Don’t make me come round and get you (ha ha) – I’m expecting you back to classes and training this week!

Please feel free to invite friends and family to join in the fun at our fab classes and of course share our Blog and social media posts (or at least comment) as this helps to spread the word. We want as many people as possible to to join the fun whilst boosting their mental and physical health and well being with us at DYBO Health and Fitness (registered company UK Fitness Academy Ltd.)

Thanks for the lovely words and “welcome back to class” messages from many of you, I’ve missed you too. It’s great to hear how good you feel during and after the classes/sessions – that’s what it’s all about for me.

Keep those requests, questions and feedback coming; it really does help us to create classes and sessions that meet your needs.

Helen’s Skin Smoothing, Muscle Soothing Body Scrub

  • 1 cup Epsom salts  (magnesium is great for muscle relaxation, better sleep and waste elimination!!)
  • 1 big handful of coconut oil (I use the cooking variety – nothing fancy, organic and pure)

Wet your skin and gentle massage top to toe, I stand in the shower to stop making the bathroom a mess (I don’t do my face, but I do massage the coconut oil in my hair and face and wash of in the morning).

After a gentle scrub I soak in a bath (with another cup of Epsom salts in the bath water) for 20 mins, or you can rinse off in the shower if you prefer

Drink plenty of water and no caffeine or alcohol for, ideally, 24 hours or at least until the following day!

Remember if you can’t make your regular class then try another one, we have classes 5 nights a week. Feel free to share with anyone you think would enjoy and benefit from our classes.

Have a fab sunny, summerish week and remember,

I love ya!

Helen x

I must have been having a massage with Helen, on a monthly basis for over 10 years now.  I really value this time.  Helen will advise me if there is a small problem with my back or legs, and give me the right exercises to do , to correct the problem.  Helen has helped me before and after 2 uni-compartmental knee replacement operations.  I am 73 years old and thankfully feel fit.  I swim twice a week, enjoy pilates and a hydrofit class.  Helen  has been a major help in keeping me flexible, fit and healthy, and I recommend her most highly.
