It’s all systems go this week, a full timetable of classes, one to one appointments and busting with energy, ideas and motivation.

I went to a skin conference on Saturday and am thrilled to have found more tools for my holistic fitness professionals kit back, ones that will help me and my DYBO family create, naturally, optimal internal and external health, fitness, wellbeing and appearance, in a way that honours my personal values regarding the environment and animal wellfare.

I learned about internal and external biochemistry based on all natural sources (all vegan, bar one milk derivative) tested on human cells and humans. I learned about the sustainability and quality control (testing every single batch of ingredients, ensuring 100% potency, and 100% freedom from inpurities – incredible). I heard testemonials from those helped in a multitude of ways.

I’m impressed and have already adopted new strategies myself, I wonder if you will notice the changes.

I know some of you have you have noticed the changes in some of the DYBO family who have taken part in my first Gut rehab studies – ask them how it’s been done, the changes they feel and if they recommend.

I’ve now started the new skin biome purify, fortify and protect regime so tell me what you think when you see me.

I need the rest of your Christmas Dinner money please – I have to pay the balance and can’t put that much money though my account, please hand me the cash this week (£15.) I will go through menu requirements in a couple of weeks.

Halloween Special Class, I need a few more folks to participate to make this happen folks. Halloween falls on the Tuesday this year and I would love to organise a special class night (just fun, no worshiping the occult!) and just for regular class fees.

High Protein Breakfast

Thanks Angie Kirkland for finding this Breakfast recipe.

Quinoa is packed with protein and when combined with nut milk it’s vegan too, but no compromise on taste!

As it is decidedly Autumnal it is a great way to warm you up at any time of the day! (originally from Madeleine Shaw)

  • 100g of quinoa
  • 500ml of coconut milk (almond milk, rice milk which is higher in carbs than nut milk)
  • 1 vanilla pod
  • 1 apple
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp of honey
  • 100g of raspberries
  • 2 tbsp of chia seeds

  • Cut the vanilla pod in half and scrape out the vanilla and grate the apple. Rinse the quinoa and transfer to a pot, pour in 350ml of coconut milk, apple and honey. Bring the pot to a boil and then reduce to a simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Take the lid off your pot and add in the rest of the milk, cinnamon and vanilla. Cook for another 4 minutes then take it off the heat, throw in the chia seeds and stir well.
  • Taste and see if you need more honey.
  • Transfer to a bowl and top with berries.

You can prepare the night before or in batches refrigerate and reheat or eat cold as a snack or desert.

Have a fab week, I look forward to seeing and hearing form you,

Helen x

I was originally refered to Helen in 1998 by a Chiropractor, following on going back problems from years of competitive tennis.  Helen put together a programme to improve my flexibiity, posture and core strength, and in conjunction with regular sports massage (from Helen) and Chiropractic treatment, totally cleared up my lower back pain.  I have continued regular treatment over the last 13 years to maintain a healthy back and have had minimal problems since.  Last October (2010) I ruptured my achilles tendon playing football, and following surgery Helen and Steve were able to provide me with support and guidance throughout my recuperation.  Ten months on I am back playing tennis and football and training to the maximum at Bodyblitz (one of Helen's classes)!!
