Like a car bonnet!

I’m so sorry I had to cancel classes and one to one’s last week; I had a really nasty GI track bug (no more details, you know what that means). Over my 35 year teaching career I believe that I have only ever canceled a night’s classes a total of three or four times and never two, let alone three nights of classes plus four days of one to ones! Thank you for your understanding well wishes and patience. I’m back now and making up for lost time!

I’m planning some specials for you over this Summer and want your requests for music that makes you feel summery or reminds you of fabulous Summer days! Plus requests for content too, over to you!

I need your Summer Schedule requests returned a.s.a.p. (deadline is this Friday, 20th July) I will create the Summer Timetable based on your requests.


Extra One to One appointments

Over the summer I have One to One slots become available (massage, life coaching, consultations and personal training) as many of my regular weekly clients go on holiday, if you would like to take one/some of these appointments let me know a.s.a.p., first come first served.


ONE PRO Cycling

Steve’s boys have had a challenging time of late with crashes, mechanicals and illness at recent races but they’ve done it and have qualified for the Tour of Britain in September by placing 3rd and 5th at this weekends Stockton Grand Prix. Their next phase of the season sees them returning to Europe for events in France in the coming weeks.


Exercise Classes and PT

The warm weather continues so I will ensure that class content accommodates the weather whilst honouring our desire to get/stay fit n’ fabulous!

I will have the fans running, over iced water with doors and window open.

Please bring plenty of water, to keep hydrated, more than you usually need

Wear whatever you like to keep yourself cool!

Bring cooling sprays, iced cloths or bottles of iced water to place on pulse points


New Friday Night class

Summer Fitness Yoga on Fridays is a wonderful class, don’t worry if you cant make the whole course just book for when you can attend this popular class and you are welcome to give it a go.


Iced snack bites, (from Body Coach, FB page)

This looks fab I will make it with coconut yogurt, let me know what you think

Ingredients: Mix up Greek yogurt, honey, squeeze of lime juice in a bowl, spread on to a tray add raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, pomegranate seeds and pecans Freeze overnight, break up in to chunks and serve.

Note from Helen, you could use ice lolly/jelly molds and make ice cream lolly’s too

As a keen club runner I had become frustrated at a number of recurring running injuries. After seeing a variety of different physios and chiropractors, with varying degrees of success but no complete solution, I was recommended to Helen. Helen took a different approach to other practitioners, looking at the whole body structure, core strength and flexibility and initially recommending a programme based around my basic posture, rather than the actual location of the pain.
